Wanted

Wanted is one of the few great comic book limited miniseries  or arcs that I highly recommend. It's edgy and independent in nature and that it doesn't belong to either of the big two: Marvel or DC. Written by one of, if not my most favorite comic book writer,  Mark Millar (Civil War, Ultimate Fantastic Four etc), with art by J. G. Jones, tells the story of Wesley Gibson/The Killer, who is really just a regular guy, an every day Joe, and in fact is pretty much a loser, until he is suddenly, and violently thrust into a "reality" that lets him discover is true identity and  destiny. Wesley (who looks like Eminem) is in fact, the son of the world's top assassin, and not only has he inherited his father's extra-ordinary skills and power (strikingly similar to Marvel's arch-villain and now Thunderbolt member,Bullseye), but also his mistress, The Fox (uncannily similar to DC's Catwoman) who initially recruited him.

From Wikipedia: It was published by Top Cow in 2003 and 2004 as part of Millarworld.[1] It's main features an amoral protagonist who discovers he is the heir to a career as a super-villainous assassin in a world where such villains have secretly taken control of the planet.

The series is adult in nature, similar to more grown-up 'super-hero' titles such as The Authority or The Ultimates. Like the Authority or the Squadron Supreme, several characters are based on DC Comics characters and super-villains (See below). The series also bears resemblance to the 1999 films Fight Club and the The Matrix, as it is about a despondent man in an unfulfilling white-collar life who attempts to change himself, but becomes extremely violent and marked as outside of 'normal' society. It differs from these stories in that the main character has no desire to improve the world through this violence, but only embraces it in the pursuit of an escape from his previous life and selfish and egocentric pleasures.

The Sunday Times dubbed the title "the Watchmen for super-villains."[2]

A film adaptation was recently released last June 27, 2008, with the notable portrayals of Angelina Jolie as The Fox and James McAvoy as Wesley/The Killer

My Iron Man arcs

Iron Man is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, after suffering a severe heart injury while being kidnapped, was forced to build a devastating weapon. He instead created a suit of power armor to save his life and help protect the world as the superhero Iron Man. He is a wealthy industrialist and genius inventor who created military weapons and whose metal suit is laden with technological devices that enable him to fight crime.
