Public Enemies!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Release date(s) September 29, 2009[2] Running time 67 minutes Country United States Language English Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is an original direct-to-video animated film adaptation of "Public Enemies" -- the opening story arc of DC Comics' Superman/Batman -- which focuses on Superman and Batman teaming up to prevent a meteoroid from striking Earth and take down Lex Luthor, who has been elected President of the United States. The film is the sixth in the line of the DC Universe Original Animated Movies line released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation.
I haven't actually watched it yet....dunno how I can resist not watching a Superman and Batman team-up ;-) but I've got a loooong trip coming up so I'm saving it for my mobile device: a Nokia N99i (don't ask where I got it...let's just say it "fell offa truck". So I'm also posting this 60mb+ 3gp video file with a 320x240 resolution (I think it is best viewed with a PSP), and the bitrate is around 120fps so it's decent enough for viewing....best of all...its only 69mb!!! Oh did I already say that? Download it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/305339696/BSPublicEnemies.3gp or here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=U2Z4U0OB The movie can also be viewed on a PC, just look for a 3gp codec or player...I think I got one lying around this blog somewhere....

GL: First Flight

What else can I say? He's green (you know, like really new) coz this is the "origin" animated movie, but it's already jampacked with all the familiar GL Corp characters. And..well...let's just say things happen a bit too fast for an "origins" story, but then again if you're a GL fan, I guess you wouldn't really mind some of the glossing over of some basic GL history in the comics, and that most of the characters like Killowog lack depth and just seems like any other "doozer?". Plus, this DC movie feature goes directly to "cosmic proportions" of the GL Corps so it is a bit different from most of the animated movies or series I've watched that usually takes place closer to home (the implications of which have more relevance to me). Again, I guess if you're into outer-space, other world conflicts then this would hit home with you....Well, happy viewing on the go!

Fantastic 4: World's Greatest

Probably along with the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series (ok, maybe a close second), Fantastic 4: World's Greatest Superheroes is one of the best animated tv-series episodes I've seen and collected, which is currently "clogging up" my laptop. Too bad it only ran for 26 episodes, and got quite limited showing on Cartoon Network back in 2007. Based on the popular Marvel comic book series, this cartoon produced by Moonscoop a France-based animation company, two-dimensional art and three-dimensional computer animation with slick intro sequences and excellent voice acting and action sequences. Any true fan of the Fantastic Four should not miss watching the series as it features some of the more poplular superheroes and villains from the Marvel Universe (as well as not so known ones). Simply copy and paste the shown download links below mostly from Rapidshare and some on Megaupload to a notepad or directly to your download manager. The file sizes are about 25mb each on the average and can be viewed on a 320x240 screen size, fitting most MP4/3GP devices.

Wonder Woman: Animated Movie

Wonder Woman the Animated Movie

A direct-to-video animated film adaptation of Wonder Woman was released on March 3, 2009 on DVD and Blu-ray disc as part of the DC Universe Original Animated Movies series produced by DC Comics animation veteran Bruce Timm and released by Warner Bros.[38] The film stars Keri Russell as Wonder Woman and is directed by Lauren Montgomery. It features Russell's Waitress costar Nathan Fillion as Steve Trevor, as well as Alfred Molina, Rosario Dawson, and Virginia Madsen. [39] The DVD sold 102,890 copies in its first week, and ranked number 5 on the DVD sales chart in America. [40].

Did you know that the creator of Wonder Woman, William Moulton Marston was partly responsible for the creation of the modern polygraph tests? This partly explains why one of WW's "super tools" is her "Magic Lasso" which "forces" anyone caught in it to tell the truth? Also, that he (Marston) was married but kept a mistress that lived with him and his wife? Talk about getting along with women and doing the rolly-poly with them! Dunno...maybe he was part Amazon himself....

What's next?

Hair-raising possibilities for my next post! Wonder Woman animated movie, or Fantastic Four animated tv series?, or Naruto (the original one in anime, English dubbed of course from Toonami) or well, maybe go back old school and go GI Joe perhaps? Well, "tune in" next week folks!

Batman: Gotham Knight

I thought I was due one more MP4 video for the PSP before the month is up. So this one is Batman: Gotham Knight composed of 6 anime-like short episodes(most of them anyways) that was sort of an in between Batman Begins and as a "preview" to the the Dark Knight that came out last year. As per Wiki:
The shorts, or segments, are written by Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg and Alan Burnett. Although all based on Japanese Anime art style, each segment has its own writing and artistic style, just as the works from the DC Universe, and with the same style of The Animatrix although some segments are connected.[2][3] All six films of the feature star Kevin Conroy, reprising his voice role as Batman from the DC Animated Universe.

My Megauploader

I've recently been scattering more and more of my shared files to different file-sharing sites aside from my old reliables (most of the time anyways) like Rapidshare and Megaupload, to others less "known" like Depositfiles and Easy-share. I find their interface a bit more friendly until I recently discovered this on MU: The MEGAUPLOAD FILE BOX! I dunno if it'll work here on Blogger but I'm glad if you could try it! Btw, my next share will be Batman: Gotham Knight. I think I'll try to upload it thru the MU filebox and see if it'll work. Feel free to try it too!

The Window Cleaner

No, no, this ain't a new superhero comicbook video. I thought I'd post something different here for a change since I'm still waiting for the Batman Gotham Knights mp4videos to upload to my different file-sharing sites, I thought I'd show this youtube video of "The Window Cleaner', which I stole from one of my favorite blogs TYWKIDBI.

Also, this is for my fans, er, friends who came over from my favorite comicbook sharing forum: www.ComicKingdom.co.uk! Be sure to visit us there! We don't have swine flu...yet!

Featured Downloads: DC and Marvel Animated Movies

Need I say more? they'll all soon be available in multiple download file-sharing sites. As usual it will be in 3gp/mp4 format, with less than 100mb downloadable files, so comeback soon!maybe tomorrow. Or, you can simply subscribe and follow this blog and know when I post "new stuff". The following files can now be downloaded from the different file-sharing sites below, Justice League: The New Frontier | Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow | Superman: Doomsday. All are in my favorite video format, 3gp with a screen size of 320x176 @104kbps good for most mp4 players and even PSPs (you can try just changing the .3gp extension to .mp4 to see if it'll work). Also, to keep the video files below 100mb, some downloads are broken down into .001, .002, .003 etc...for these, use HJSplit (found here) to join the files and view them on a 3gp PC player.

My New File-Sharing Site

I believe in not putting all of one's eggs in just one basket, so to speak. So, beginning this month, I'll be slowly putting up files on Easy-Share. I particularly like their cleaner and much more convenient interface especially in editing file names. Please do check it out. I have also put in a widget (I hope it woiks!) just to see if it can be integrated here in Blogger.

Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2 [ongoing]

Coming soon: I haven't actually made up my mind yet what to post next week, it's a toss up between Yu-Gi-Oh (Waking the Dragons arc) which would be around 20 or so 3gp files or the Justice League New Frontier feature which would more or less take around 8 uploads. Hey, comment away and help me choose if you like! In the meantime, if you're an Avatar the Last Airbender fan, you might want to check out my ongoing uploads in my Easyshare folder here (Season 2, Book 2 Earth)

Avatar the Last Airbender Returns! Season 1

Hi to everyone who keeps visiting this blog! (aside from me) and thanks! Or, maybe you simply found yourself suddenly lost here (not likely). Well, welcome! and a Happy New Year to you! and that goes double if you're Chinese! Kung Hei Fat Choi! (I think they celebrated the start of the lunar year a about a week ago or so...) It's the year of the Ox! And what better to start off my first blog of the year than to *bring back* so to speak, the boy who has perhaps, the biggest flying ox in all of cartoon world (well, technically it's a buffalo...but what the hey) and together with a flying lemur/monkey, a waterbending chick, earth/metal bending blind girl (although she doesnt show up til Season 2, sorry for the spoiler!) and of course, the ever funny boomerang wielding bungling boy...tries to "save the world" from the tyranny of the Fire Nation . Of course, I'm talking about no other than Avatar the Last Airbender (Season 1), in some parts also known as the Legend of Aang that started about 3 years ago (2005) and ended last summer of 2008. If you haven't watched it yet or just want to catch up on some episodes...or, simply just want to re-live the show...then you're in luck! You not only get to watch it again, but you also get to bring it along with you on your cellphone or any mp4 mobile device by simply downloading the files from the link provided below (note: just click the Show and Select links and copy and paste it to your browser):

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about... Here's what Wikipedia has to say: The series follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating the Fire Lord and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.[3][4] The pilot episode first aired on February 21, 2005[5] and the series concluded with a widely-lauded two-hour television movie on July 19, 2008.[6] The show is now available on DVD, the iTunes Store, and the Xbox Live Marketplace, as well as its home on Nickelodeon. Avatar: The Last Airbender was popular with both audiences and critics, garnering 5.6 million viewers on its best-rated showing and receiving high ratings in the Nicktoons lineup, even outside its 6–11-year-old demographic. Avatar has been nominated for and won awards from the Annual Annie Awards, the Genesis Awards and the primetime Emmy awards, among others. The first series' success prompted Nickelodeon to order second[10] and third[11] seasons. A movie trilogy tentatively titled The Last Airbender is expected to start production in March 2009.
